Black Walnut Bottoms Trail is a 1.4 mile natural surface trail starting at the Bethania Visitor’s Center, located at 5393 Ham Horton Ln, Bethania, NC 27010. The trail follows along Muddy Creek and cuts through forest and open fields. For the Creek Crawl event held here, meet at the picnic tables next to the visitor’s center.

    NC Sierra Club Foothills Group will lead a fun and informative creek crawl along Bethania’s Black Walnut Bottom Trail, where creeks feed into Muddy Creek. Learn about Moravian history and life in the creek.
