DESCRIPTION:Join us for a volunteer storm drain marking event! You and your group can pick a neighborhood or be assigned one to help label storm drains and raise awareness that only rain should go down the drain. These simple actions help prevent pollution\, protect our creeks\, and keep our communities beautiful. What’s provided: Safety vests\, drain marker placards and adhesive\, and gloves. What you should bring: Sunscreen\, water bottle\, closed-toed shoes\, and friends! Please sign up for your group (1 slot = 1 group) and list the number of people expected for your group and if you have a preferred neighborhood or area of Kernersville you want to mark. Groups can be any size. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. All participants must sign liability waivers. Please register your group [link released 3 weeks prior to event date].

DESCRIPTION:Help us keep our waterways pristine! Join us for a community cleanup at Muddy Creek Park as we work to remove litter and debris from the creek and surrounding trails. Whether you want to get your feet wet or stay on solid ground\, there is a job for everyone! \n\n\nThe Deep Dive: If you have waders\, bring them along! We’ll be heading into the creek to clear out trapped debris. \n\n\nThe Trail Team: No waders? No problem! We need plenty of hands to patrol the trails and bank areas to keep the park beautiful for hikers and local wildlife. \n\n\nAll supplies provided! We will have gloves\, trash bags\, and pickers ready for you. Just bring yourself\, some water\, and a passion for the environment. \nMeet in the parking lot off Robinhood Rd\, located at 4600 Robinhood Rd. DESCRIPTION:*EVENT FULL* \n  \nHave you wanted to fish in Winston-Salem but fees\, license requirements\, or equipment needs held you back? This event is for you! \n  \nAll equipment and bait for basic fishing will be provided by Forsyth Creek Week\, plus free pizza! License requirements will be waived for that location and time\, courtesy of NC Wildlife Resources Commission. Fishing fees usually in effect at Salem Lake will also be covered by Forsyth Creek Week. The Wake Forest University Fishing Club will help fishers bait hooks\, teach how to cast\, and help land and release fish. Fishing off the pier or in a boat only – no bank fishing allowed.
