Join Cooperative Extension during Forsyth Creek Week to learn how to start and maintain your own backyard compost bin or pile, what should and shouldn't go in a backyard compost, and local resources to help you get started.
When It Happens Here: Preparing for Emergencies in Forsyth County
Be prepared, not panicked. Join us for a practical emergency preparedness workshop. This session will focus on the types of emergencies most likely to impact the Piedmont of North Carolina — including flooding, severe storms, winter weather, and other disruptions — with special attention to water-related risks.
