Mention Creek Week when you check in at the marina center to go fishing at Salem Lake and the staff will waive the normal $3.50 fishing fee!
Big Bass Fishing Tournament
Saturday, March 16, 7 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Salem Lake Park, Winston-Salem
Grab your fishing buddy and bring your boat to Salem Lake to see who can catch the biggest large-mouth bass during the Creek Week Big Bass Tournament. The money raised through entry fees will pay out the first and second place winners. This is a boat tournament.
Entry fee: $20
Solo boat tournament, multiple people may fish from the same boat

Creek Week Jamboree - Family Fishing Fun
Sunday, March 17 from 2 - 4 p.m.
Village Point Lake, 6610 Village Point Lake Drive, Clemmons
Join the Forsyth Creek Week committee for an array of activities including crafts to make, fish id, Public Library Bookmobile, casting demos, erosion model, a leprechaun magician, and free FISHING with a Saint Patrick flare! License requirements have been waived and bait available for purchase. Local food trucks will offer tasty treats. There will be something for everyone and fun for all ages! Thanks to the Village of Clemmons Stormwater Department for hosting and organizing the location. Parking will be at Morgan Elementary School (3210 Village Point Dr.), and then walk across the street to the Village Point Greenway (6610 Village Point Lake Dr).
