We are part of Keep America Beautiful, the largest community improvement organization in the country. We are proud of the positive impact our programs have made in our community. Thousands of local volunteers and many sponsors have helped us achieve this. Visit our website to get involved as a volunteer or sponsor and make a difference in Winston-Salem!

 

Our program also helps prevent fires, diseases, and other hazards by promoting trash removal and debris cleanup. We encourage planting trees and flowers around the city to protect birds and wildlife. In January 1989, the Winston-Salem Community Committee became Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful, a certified affiliate of Keep America Beautiful.

 

Over the years, we’ve added more projects. Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful continues to educate and work with residents for a cleaner, litter-free city.
