Come have some fun playing in our model of a creek, complete with leaf packs, rocks, snails and dragonflies! Scared of bugs? Don’t worry, we’re practicing with fake ones to learn which insects are most sensitive to pollution in the water. We’ll talk about our watershed, how the storm system works, and how to be safe in a real creek or stream. By the time we’re finished practicing, you’ll be ready to try out your “bug eyes” in a real creek or stream near you! Program presented by Piedmont Triad Regional Council-Stormwater Smart. Recommended for children ages 4-11.
