Join us for a volunteer storm drain marking event! You and your group can pick a neighborhood or be assigned one to help label storm drains and raise awareness that only rain should go down the drain.
What is PLIRDING?? Simply, it means picking up trash while birding. Join Forsyth Audubon for Plirding at Newell Massey Greenway along Brushy Fork Creek.
Come out with Yadkin Riverkeeper for a cleanup of Salem Creek. Gloves, trash bags, and a limited number of trash grabbers will be provided.
Help clean up Peters Creek at Hanes Park with the Forsyth County Public Library.
Rods and bait provided, no license needed, and Salem Lake fishing fees are waived for this event only. Great for new fishers and experienced anglers alike!
Learn about our waterways, get your feet wet sampling macroinvertebrates in our creek, and help restore our shoreline and wildlife habitat at Salem Lake.
