A festival to celebrate our waterways
Come have some fun playing in our model of a creek, complete with leaf packs, rocks, snails and dragonflies! Scared of bugs? Don’t worry, we’re practicing with fake ones to learn which insects are most sensitive to pollution in the water.
Students will create and display their own water-related science and art projects, while participants also rotate through expert-led investigation stations focused on animals, plants, and water systems.
Join us at Kaleideum to celebrate salamanders! Meet our live tiger salamander and axolotl and learn about their habitat while participation in salamander themed activities.
Play games, do crafts and meet live animals at Salem Lake! Series 2 is designed for kids that have already participated in the original Nature Kids.
