SALEM CREEK & WETLANDS CLEAN UP
Saturday, March 16, 9 a.m. - noon
Come out with Yadkin Riverkeeper for a cleanup of Salem Creek. Masks, gloves, and trash bags to clean up this restored section of the creek will be provided. So, grab your friends and meet us at the Anderson Building parking lot on the WSSU campus (WSSU, Anderson Building parking lot, Reynolds Park Rd). Come help us clean up Salem Creek!

CLEMMONS CREEK WEEK CLEAN UP
Saturday & Sunday, March 16 - 17
Clemmons is looking for groups of energetic people (homeowner associations, school organizations, scout groups, a group of friends, etc.) who are interested in working together to clean up creeks, streams or roadways in their neighborhoods. You pick the area and time that works best for you. Vests, gloves and trash bags will be provided. Pre-register with the Clemmons Stormwater Department at 336-766-9170 or by emailing eharrison@clemmons.org . Requests will need to be in by 12pm Thursday March 14th. Requests received after 12pm March 14th unfortunately cannot be processed.

Help us close out Forsyth Creek Week 2024 with a hands on clean up event! Join Bee City USA and Old Salem Horticulture program as we remove invasive species including Privet, Kudzu, and English Ivy from along the creek banks of Tanners Run, across the street from Old Salem. Come prepared to get your feet wet, and your hands dirty as we help maintain the integrity of native species along this local creek. All ages welcome, though children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. THE GREAT AMERICAN CLEAN UP IN WINSTON-SALEM

The Great American Clean Up in Winston-Salem is coordinated by Keep Winston-Salem Beautiful and is part of the national Great American Clean Up, coordinated annually by Keep America Beautiful. It will take place in neighborhoods, parks, schools and waterways throughout the City. Individuals and groups can request an area to clean or can be assigned to a location.
